After a cool and breezy start to the day, it calmed and warmed up resulting in good flying conditions.

Numbers attending were down somewhat but it was “Fathers Day” and all dad’s should be spoiled a little on this day.

Pete Gowland flew his large Focker DR1 Triplane in the latter part of the morning and a very impressive flight it was.  The sound of the engine in flight together with a very “Scale” speed made the flight quite impressive.
